Portwise will present at The Ports Australia Business and Operations Conference

The Ports Australia Business and Operations Conference is back after a short hiatus. We are proud to announce our participation in the upcoming event; 12 – 14 September 2023 at Rydges, Geelong, Victoria.

The 2023 theme of the conference is The Next Wave, as we all seek to understand and capture innovation both domestically and abroad, and Ports Australia aims to bring people together to share these business and operational improvements.

Together we will explore how a range of issues such as cybersecurity, automation, digitisation, and sustainability and environmental concerns will play a role in the industry’s future operations. Through keynote speeches, panel discussions, and networking opportunities, participants will explore the latest trends and strategies for success in this dynamic field. The conference will also highlight emerging technologies and best practices that can help port professionals stay ahead of the curve and lead the industry into the future.

At the event on 1:30PM on Day 1, Dr Yvo Saanen, Managing Director and Founder of Portwise, will present a session about “Myths and reality about technological developments: Separating hype from valve”.
